#2 tip – Buy labeled “non-GMO” foods. Select food producers voluntarily label their products and even state “Made Without Genetically Modified Ingredients.”
#3 tip – Avoid at risk ingredients. The “big five” GMOs at this time are: corn, soy , canola, cottonseed, and beet sugar are genetically modified.
# 4 tip – Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Most fresh fruits and vegetables are not genetically modified. Some fruits and vegetables that may be genetically modified at this time include zucchini, yellow crookneck squash, sweet corn, arctic apples and Hawaiian papaya.
